Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Indiva Stays, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling your booking and requesting a refund. Please read this policy carefully before making a reservation.

2. Standard Cancellation Policy

Our standard cancellation policy applies to most bookings unless otherwise specified at the time of reservation:

• More than 30 days before check-in: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
• 15-30 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount
• 7-14 days before check-in: 25% refund of the total booking amount
• Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund

3. Flexible Cancellation Policy

Some properties may offer a flexible cancellation option at an additional cost. Under this policy:

• More than 14 days before check-in: Full refund minus a 5% administrative fee
• 7-14 days before check-in: 75% refund of the total booking amount
• 3-6 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount
• Less than 3 days before check-in: 25% refund of the total booking amount

4. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain promotional rates and special offers may be non-refundable. These bookings are clearly marked at the time of reservation and cannot be canceled for a refund under any circumstances. Non-refundable bookings may also be non-transferable.

5. How to Cancel Your Booking

To cancel your booking, please follow these steps:

• Provide your booking reference number and guest details
• Submit your cancellation request in writing
• Wait for confirmation of your cancellation and refund details

Cancellations are effective from the date we receive your written request, not from the date you decide to cancel.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the booking. Please note:

• Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
• Administrative fees are non-refundable
• Refunds are subject to the applicable cancellation policy
• Currency conversion fees (if applicable) are non-refundable

7. Modifications to Bookings

If you wish to modify your booking dates or guest details instead of canceling, please contact us as soon as possible. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Changes made within 7 days of check-in may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

8. No-Show Policy

If you fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date without prior cancellation, you will be considered a "no-show" and will forfeit the entire booking amount. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

9. Early Departure

If you choose to check out earlier than your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided for the unused nights. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may require early departure.

10. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances

In cases of force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.) that prevent you from completing your stay, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a fair resolution. This may include:

• Rescheduling your booking to a future date
• Providing a credit voucher for future use
• Partial or full refund depending on the circumstances

11. Property-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that we need to cancel your confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We will make every effort to provide alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard at no additional cost.

12. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, interruptions, and other unforeseen events. Travel insurance can provide additional protection beyond our cancellation policy.
